Click on the Shortcut Tab and Click on Change Icon.Right click on the Google Chrome Shortcut and open Properties. You can also get to it through '%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Google Chrome' This takes you to the location of the Chrome shortcut. Right click on the Start Menu tile select 'More' and select 'Open File Location'.Rename or delete the '' file located in the '%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Google\Chrome\Application' folder (I would recommend renaming it as '-bk').However I found a solution which worked for me in combination with the above answer.
